I grew up in Bakersfield, CA, and earned a degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. I then graduated veterinary school at the University of California, Davis.

After exploring the many paths veterinary medicine has to offer, from marine mammals to livestock, my interest in community medicine started as a student volunteer for outreach clinics and the local shelter. I discovered my love for building lasting relationships with both pets and their families, and the privilege of watching furry companions grow through every stage of life. 

When not at work, I love exploring new coffee shops with a good book, spending time with my Pyrenees mix, Buck, and enjoying the not-so-sunny Bay Area beaches.
